Across ASEAN, young people experience many of the same challenges — but their perspectives aren’t always heard in regional conversations. The ASEAN Children’s Forum (ACF) creates a space for young people aged 12 to 18 to come together, share their experiences and ideas, and bring their views directly to ASEAN leaders and decision-makers.
Held every two years, the ACF gives young people an opportunity to speak up on issues that matter to them and contribute to conversations about the future of children and young people across the region.
Four delegates from Singapore, Cara (17), Giselle (17), Ivy (13), and Min Nuo (17) participated in the 9th ACF, hosted by Malaysia, focused on violence against children, exploring what young people think needs to change to make their communities safer.
