The Regional Children's Meeting (RCM) is an annual gathering where young people across Asia share their views on children's rights, organised by the Child Rights Coalition Asia (CRC Asia). RCM 2025 was jointly organised with Childline Thailand Foundation, with a focus on children's rights to play, culture, and arts.
Youth who were interested to represent Singapore at the RCM had to first complete a survey on online gaming, sharing their perspectives and experiences. Shortlisted candidates then went through an interview, after which their responses were anonymised and released to the public to vote. Catch a glimpse of the process below!
In the end, two youth from VOX @ Singapore Children's Society won the vote. Over two days, Arif and Kyler, alongside other delegates from across Asia explored how digital play intersects with children's rights to protection and civic participation— from the benefits of online gaming to the risks young people face in digital spaces.
